關於 Bassam Issa
Bassam Issa的作品橫跨數碼動畫、繪畫、雕塑和紡織品，主題圍繞抗爭、蛻變和酷兒的可能性。他2016年於 Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology 完成視覺藝術實踐的文學士學位。近年個展包括︰ITS DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE TAKE THIS!, The Douglas Hyde Gallery (2022)、I AM ERROR, Gasworks, London (2021)、De La Warr Pavilion, Sussex (2022)、Dissolving Beyond The Worm Moon, Solstice Arts Centre, Navan (2019) 及 Illusions of Love Dyed by Sunset, The LAB, Dublin (2018)。近年群展包括︰Queer Embodiment and Social Fabric at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (2021-2022)、The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon (2021)、Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast (2020)。作品近年曾於以下場地放映︰倫敦巴比肯藝術中心 (2022)、柏林 transmediale (2021), 南韓 EX-IS (2021) 及巴黎國立網球場現代美術館 (2021)。他的作品是愛爾蘭現代美術館、愛爾蘭藝術理事會及Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown郡議會的藏品。2021年獲Golden Fleece獎，現時是Temple Bar Gallery + Studios的工作室成員。他於貝爾法斯特及都柏林居住及工作。
